OFFICIAL FUNERAL ANNOUNCEMENT – ZAMBIA ASSOCIATION OF MUSICIANS (ZAM)
It is with deep sorrow that the Zambia Association of Musicians announces the passing of Mr. Frank Chileshe, beloved father of Zambian artiste Obed Chileshe a.k.a Chile One MrZambia.
Mr. Chileshe passed away this afternoon, 12th May 2026, after a short illness. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Chile One, the entire Chileshe family, relatives, and close friends during this difficult time.
ZAM stands in solidarity with Chile One and his family. We recognize Mr. Chileshe’s role in raising and supporting one of Zambia’s most loved voices, and we honor his memory with the respect he deserves.
